Improving community chipper programs
Please join us on November 17, 2020 at 9:30am PST to learn how FIRESafe MARIN increased chipper program participation & satisfaction while reducing removal costs.
In the first 4 months of the 2020 season, FSM was able to service over 30,000 dwellings, removing over 10,000 cubic yards of debris and had positive feedback from their residents. In addition, the program was able to support accelerated vegetation removal near evacuation routes & key infrastructure during the Woodward Fire. The program provided detailed data for strategic planning and met the needs for CalFIRE, Firewise, and local government reporting.
What you can learn this webinar:
How to scale chipper programs from 102 drop-offs per season to curbside service around the entire county for the entire season.
How to manage multiple jurisdiction requirements, funding source tracking and resident communications.
Lessons learned about what data to track and how to use it to improve program metrics.
How to improve your 2021 chipper program.
Using chipper programs during an active fire to support communities in evacuation zones.
